The trio of Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler was named The Pure Fusion Collective on WWE RAW.
On the August 12 episode of WWE RAW, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler were set to face Damage CTRL in a Number One Contender’s Match. Ahead of the bout, Deville, Baszlerm, and Stark shared their thoughts in a promo backstage. Deville referred to the group as The Pure Fusion Collective.
Baszler and Stark were then announced as The Pure Fusion Collective ahead of their match against IYO SKY and Kairi Sane. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre watched the match at ringside. The prospective challengers battled it out on a hard-fought match, but the bout ended without a winner when Fyre and Dawn attacked both teams.
Additionally, the broadcast team noted that Dakota Kai would be out for ten weeks as she had suffered ten weeks. She last appeared on the August 5 episode of WWE RA. There, Baszler, Stark, and Deville attacked her backstage.
