Lex Luger Compares The Four Horsemen To The Bloodline

It is safe to say that one of the most popular factions in professional wrestling right now is the Bloodline. The story just within the faction has been told for over three years and the story is not over yet. Initially the faction began with the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Jey Uso. Later Jimmy Uso also joined the faction, Solo Sikoa was recruited, and Sami Zayn too. Then as one by one, people left the group, The Rock showed up and joined the Bloodline. Now, the faction comprises of the ‘Self-appointed’ Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. WWE veteran Lex Luger recently shared his thoughts on the faction.

During a recent interview with the Busted Open Radio, Lex Luger compared the infamous Four Horsemen faction to the Bloodline. Luger claimed that the Four Horsemen were the original faction that got over with the fans.

“I think [the Four Horsemen] had longevity. We’re kinda one of the original factions that really, really got over.”

Lex Luger is also confident that the Bloodline faction has the potential to grow and build stories for years to come and he is convinced that it will go down in history as the greatest faction ever.

“Those guys [The Bloodline], the way those island boys…can work…The way they move, they have a fierceness and a fire that you can’t train a guy to have, and with The Rock involved…he’s gonna at least go through [WrestleMania] next year. They’re gonna go down as the greatest faction ever, in my opinion,” Lex Luger said. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Roman Reigns also returned at SummerSlam and took out Solo Sikoa.

WCW legend Kevin Sullivan highlighted what The Bloodline, Four Horsemen, and nWo all had in common during an interview with WrestleZone.

“But do you know what the Horsemen, The Bloodline, and the nWo have in common? There was only four guys in the group.” Kevin Sullivan said. “And each had a great manager, the manager of his time. And then the nWo, I think, splintered when we started just passing on T-shirts; I think they should never have gone past Syxx Pac, Hulk, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash.

“The one that was very, very important, think about this, Syxx Pac was like at the bottom of the ladder for the people. But he was the guy the fans knew they could beat him up; who’s a snot-nosed little kid? He’s in two Hall of Fame’s for two different groups: DX and the nWo. He was very, very important.

“But again, like I said, they had JJ Dillon for the Horsemen. They had Eric for the nWo, and then they had Paul E for The Bloodline. I think that’s a perfect number. Because once you start expanding, your eyes can’t take in 30 guys with black and white t-shirts on. I think that right now, wrestling is as hot as it’s ever been. In fact, I think it’s hotter. When AEW drew that 81,000 people, they sold over 70,000 without even announcing a match? That’s pretty phenomenal.”
