Ortiz says he is right at the finish line, regarding his recovery from injury.
AEW’s Ortiz has been sidelined since January due to a torn pec. He last wrestled on the January 20 episode of AEW Collision. There, he and Eddie Kingston lost to Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli.
In a digital exclusive, Ortiz provided an update and stated that he was x. Ortiz also said that being out with an injury has given him a different perspective on wrestling and in life. He stated that he thought that he was obsessed with wrestling again. He said that he aimed to become undeniable, and he would not accept being forgotten about.
When asked about his injury status, he said, “we’re right there.” Ortiz said that the finish line is “right here,” hopefully sooner than later. However, there is not a specific timetable.
