The Lucha Bros claim that they have had talks with WWE, according to a new report.
As previously reported, Penta El Zero Miedo’s AEW contract is up this year. Fightful recently reported that Rey Fenix’s deal is coming up as well.
In an update, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the duo have said that Penta’s deal is up first, and Fenix’s is set to expire around September.
Sapp cites sources who noted that AEW wanted to resign the Lucha Bros. However, the process kept getting delayed by the duo. Sapp writes that it became evident to AEW that Fenix and Penta were not looking to resign.
