Finn Balor says he’ll be waiting when Damian Priest least expects it, and he won’t be alone.
Finn Balor turned on Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam and cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. Priest then came to the ring on the August 5 episode of WWE RAW. He called Balor a coward before he recalled how the Judgment Day made him feel like he belonged. However, he said that his family had grown bigger, referring to the fans who were cheering for him.
Priest said that he was mad because Balor took the title from all of them, and he could not let that stand. He again called out Balor.
Finn Balor Responds
Finn Balor then responded, as he appeared on the video screen. He told Priest that he had brought this on himself, as everything changed after he won the world title. Balor recalled how Priest told him to man up after hs loss at WWE Money in the Bank 2023, and he waited for a year to screw Priest and his family.
Balor also said that he would not fight him, as he was going to wait until he felt safe and comfortable. Balor stated that he would be there waiting to stab Priest in the back, and he would not be alone, as the rest of the Judgment Day, including Liv Morgan, was with him. Rhea Ripley was not with them, so Balor’s version of the stable seemed to be the new version.
Later in the show, Priest faced JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor attacked him. The new Judgment Day then ganged up on Priest. Priest fought them off, and Liv Morgan saved Balor. Dominik Mysterio attacked Priest from behind, and Rhea Ripley made the save.
