Ludwig Kaiser is in the ring to introduce our new World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther.

In-Ring Segment: World Heavyweight Champion Gunther

Half of the crowd boos while the other chants, “You deserve it!” Gunther lists his previous accomplishments before reminding everyone that he is the new World Heavyweight champion. If you think what the Intercontinental championship was grand, wait to see what he has in store for this championship. A championship that so desperately needed him. Nothing can catch Gunther off guard. Gunther proclaims that he is greatness personified. Gunther yells that this championship AND Monday Night Raw are his. SmackDown’s Randy Orton’s music hits. Orton joins Gunther in the ring. Gunther chuckles as Orton poses on the ropes, and the crowd bellows out the chorus of “Voices.”Gunther quips, “Well, Randy, I have to admit, that caught me off guard.”

Orton congratulates Gunther but notes that the only reason Gunther is holding the World Championship is because Gunther beat Orton at King of the Ring… or did he? Everyone saw it. Even Triple H admitted it. Triple H said there needs to be a Gunther vs. Orton II. Orton notes that Gunther fashions himself a legend. That’s a good thing since Orton’s made a career of killing legends. Orton says they can be the modern Flair vs. Steamboat. Orton knows he can fill one of those roles, but can Gunther? Gunther accepts Orton’s challenge at Bash at Berlin. Orton and Gunther shake. Gunther gets in Orton’s face. Gunther tells Orton off mic that absolutely nothing catches him out of nowhere. Orton says that’s good because he wants Gunther to see it coming.

In Gorilla, Sheamus says he will deal with the human Ken Doll Ludwig Kaiser tonight. He’d like to get his hands on Pete Dunne, but that will have to wait.

Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Kaiser meets Sheamus in the isleway to jump-start the match. Once the fight makes it back to the ring, the bell rings. Sheamus and Ludwig trade strikes. Kaiser unloads on Sheamus with stiff chop after chop in the corner. Sheamus turns it around and lights Kaiser up with chops. Kaiser kicks Sheamus in his previously injured knee. Sheamus tells Kaiser to bring it. Kaiser throws a kick that Sheamus blocks. Sheamus runs over Kaiser. Rolling senton by Sheamus. Sheamus goes up top. Kaiser rolls out of the ring and clutches at his ribs. Kaiser tells the referee he needs medical.

While Sheamus is distracted, Kaiser attacks Sheamus from behind. Sheamus ends up lying against the ring steps. Kaiser lands a running dropkick. Sheamus is almost counted out but makes it in by the nine count. Kaiser works over Sheamus. Sheamus fires up and caps his flurry with an Irish curse backbreaker. Kaiser escapes the Celtic cross but eats white noise. Kaiser kicks out. Cloverleaf by Sheamus. Kaiser gets to the ropes. Kaiser rolls out to the apron. Sheamus sets up the ten beats.

Kaiser counters by stunning Sheamus on the top rope. Discus lariat by Kaiser. Sheamus kicks out. Kaiser and Sheamus trade strikes. Clothesline by Sheamus. Sheamus lands the ten beats of the Bodhren. Kaiser falls to the floor. Sheamus lands a diving clothesline from the top to the outside. Sheamus tosses Kaiser back into the ring. Pete Dunne hops the barricade and tries to attack Sheamus with a Shillelagh. Sheamus avoids it and destroys Dunne with a bicycle knee strike. Kaiser sets up his finish. Sheamus escapes and lands another knee strike. Sheamus bounces off the ropes and hits a Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner- Sheamus

Damian Priest power walks to the ring and grabs a mic.

In-Ring Segment: Damian Priest

Priest screams for Finn Bálor to come to the ring to take this beating he has waiting for him. Bálor doesn’t show. Priest goes off Bálor for being a coward. Priest says he’s been alone his whole life until he found The Judgement Day. This isn’t just about losing the championship; Priest can win that again; it’s that Bálor took the title from all of us. Bálor appears on the screen and says Priest brought this on himself. Priest cost Bálor the championship a year ago.

Priest told Bálor after that match to man up. Well, Bálor manned up at SummerSlam. Bálor isn’t going to fight Priest. JD will do that. Bálor is going to wait for Priest to forget about him. When that happens, Bálor will be there to stab Priest in the back over and over again. It won’t just be Bálor. “WE” all will. The camera pans back, and we see the new-look Judgement Day: Finn Bálor, Carlito, JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan. Priest loses it and stomps backstage.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Shayna Baszler w/Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville

Baszler takes Valkyria down and stomps on her elbow. Baszler works over Valkyria’s arm. Valkyria fires up and hits a short powerbomb for a near fall. Valkyria goes up top. Stark gets on the apron. Valkyria kicks Stark off the apron. Baszler avoids a flying Valkyria. Valkyria dropkicks Deville through the ropes. Baszler grabs Valkyria while she is still hanging on the ropes and locks in the Kirifuda Clutch. Valkyria reverses the clutch into the Night Wing. Deville and Stark hit the ring and attack Valkyria during the pin. The referee calls for the bell. Baszler has been disqualified.

Winner- Lyra Valkyria

After the match, Deville and Co. beat down Valkyria. Damage CTRL hit the ring and sent Deville and Co. packing.

Backstage, Karrion Kross promises the Authors of Pain will end The New Day tonight.

In-Ring Segment: CM Punk

Punk notes that he is going to explain why he is so happy tonight. He understands he lost at SummerSlam. Punk didn’t do what he said he would. Besides that, he hasn’t been in this arena in ten years, and thousands of people chanting his name makes him smile. Most people love him because he doesn’t stay down. There are some people who hate him because he won’t stay down. Punk knew SummerSlam wasn’t guaranteed. The doctors told him it would take nine months to return from his injury. Punk did it in six. McIntyre hurt Punk and gloated about it.

Even though Punk lost at SummerSlam, he knows he’s back. Punk wants round two with McIntyre. McIntyre said he was going to put Punk in the ground, but he’s still standing. The people deserve less of Punk talking and more of him fighting. The crowd goes nuts. Seth “Freakin” Rollins music hits. Rollins slowly walks to the ring and tells Punk that he’s happy, too. Rollins is happy that after nine long years, he can finally put Punk in the dirt. Punk tells Rollins that he’ll be his huckleberry.

Before Punk and Rollins tear into each other, Drew McIntyre appears in the crowd near the cheap seats. McIntyre mocks Rollins and Punk, but Rollins and Punk are staring daggers through each other. McIntyre reminds Punk that he still has Punk’s bracelet with Punk’s wife AJ and his dog Larry’s names. Punk rolls out of the ring and chases McIntyre. McIntyre escapes. Back in the ring, Rollins turns around and gets run over by Bronson Reed!

Rollins tries to fight back, but Reed blasts him with a running DVD. Reed crushes Rollins with two Tsunamis in a row. Referees and officials hit the ring. Reed rolls out of the ring. As Reed walks up the ramp, he returns to the ring and hits FIVE more Tsunamis. Rollins is spitting up blood, and Reed finally leaves the ring… only to return and go back up top for another splash. Thankfully, the referee rolls Rollins out of the ring before he can be flattened for an eighth time.

The Authors of Pain w/The Final Testament vs. The New Day

Kingston gets distracted superkicking Rezar off the apron. Akam lands a spinebuster. Akam and Rezar take turns working over Kingston. After the break, Kingston manages to tag in Woods. Woods lands a flurry of offense. Rezar places Woods on the top rope. Woods stuns Rezar with several headbutts.

Missile dropkick by Woods. Akam charges in and gets sent flying over the top. Kingston lands a trust fall on Akam. Scarlett distracts the referee while Kross knocks Woods off the top. Odessey Jones stomps to ringside and tosses Kross into the apron. Kross turns around, and Jones launches Kross into the crowd. Back in the ring, Woods rolls up Rezar for the win.

Winners- The New Day

After the match, Rezar and Akam attack Woods. Jones makes the save.

Awesome Truth vs. A-Town Down Under

R-Truth sends Waller and Theory flying with a headlock takeover/head scissors combo. Miz and Truth essentially do the Rock and Roll Express tag team flurry spot, double dropkicks and all. After the break, Theory and Waller work over Truth. Truth manages to tag in Miz. Miz clears the ring. After a series of blind tags, Truth picks up Theory for an AA. As Truth spins Theory, Theory’s feet hit Miz and knocked him out of the ring. Theory escapes off of Truth’s shoulders and hits A-Town Down for the win.

Winners- A-Town Down Under

Damian Priest vs. JD McDonagh w/Carlito

McDonagh slaps Priest. Priest eventually floors McDonagh with a big boot. Priest stomps McDonagh in the corner. Faceplant by Priest. McDonagh fires back and catches Priest with a double knee strike. Priest sends McDonagh out of the ring. Priest picks up McDonagh to drive him into the ring post. McDonagh counters and sends Priest into the post. Priest clutches at his previously injured chest. Suicide Dive by McDonagh.

After the break, Priest tries South of Heaven. McDonagh backflips out of it and lands a headbutt. Top rope moonsault by McDonagh. Priest kicks out. Priest fires up and hits the broken arrow. McDonagh ends up outside. Priest sends McDonagh flying over the announce desk. Priest sends McDonagh back in the ring. Carlito gets on the apron. Priest boots Carlito back to the floor. Priest calls for South of Heaven. Finn Bálor appears and attacks Priest, causing a disqualification.

Winner- Damian Priest

After the match, the NEW Judgement Day attacks Priest. Priest bows up and clears the ring of everyone but Bálor. Bálor tries to run away. Priest grabs Priest and sets up the Razor’s Edge. Liv Morgan pulls Bálor off off Priest’s shoulders. Morgan and Dominik stomp Priest. Rhea Ripley’s music hits. Morgan and Dominik try to run, but Ripley catches Morgan and sends her into the ring post. Ripley sets up a table powerbomb for Morgan, but Dominik pulls Morgan away. McDonagh is left in the ring. Ripley headbutts McDonagh into a South of Heaven from Priest.

In-Ring Segment: Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler

Deville says it seems Dakota Kai isn’t going to make it tonight. Iyo Sky’s music hits. Sky is taking Kai’s place.

Sonya Deville w/Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler vs. Iyo Sky w/Kairi Sane

Sky sends Deville tumbling out of the ring after a head scissor. Sky takes a moment to dropkick Stark through the ropes. Deville sends Sky into the ring steps. After the break, Deville works over Sky. Deville misses a spear in the corner and gets posted. Dragon screw by Sky. Sky follows that with a dropkick. Before Deville can gather herself, Sky hits a missile dropkick off the top.

Deville kicks out. Deville surprises Sky with a running knee. Sky kicks out. Roll through stomp by Sky. Bullet train attack by Sky. Stark puts Deville’s foot on the bottom rope to break up the pin. Sane attacks Stark outside the ring. Baszler tries to get involved, but Sky lands a dropkick through the ropes. Sky lands a moonsault while Sane lands an InSANE elbow out on the floor. Over the Moonsault by Sky. Sky pins Deville.

Winner- Iyo Sky

American Made (Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers) vs. The Wyatt Sicks

Uncle Howdy and Abby the Witch sit at ringside as Lumis, Gacy, and Rowen rush the ring and clear it. As the bell rings, Lumis and Julis start the match. Lumis runs over Julius and hits a pop-up spinebuster. Lumis lands several leg drops before tagging in Gacy. Gacy lands a few strikes and a double team with Lumis. Gable pulls Lumis’ hair as he hits the ropes. Rowen has seen enough and rushes the ring. Rowens uses Julius as a weapon before slamming him on Brutus.

Gacy follows that with a senton to both men. The Wyatt Sicks clear the ring. Rowen powerbomb Lumis over the top onto American Made. After the break, American Made is taking turns working over Gacy. Gacy surprises Julius and Brutus with a double Upside down. Gacy manages to tag in Rowen. Rowen clears the ring. Rowen pays tribute to Brody Lee with the slingshot press.

The Creeds break up the pin and drag Gacy out of the ring. As the Creed beatdown Gacy at ringside, Lumis dives off the top with a leg drop to break it up. Gable German suplexes Rowen. Rowen kicks out. Gable looks for the Creed outside the ring for help. Lumis and Gacy uranage suplex Brutus and Julius on the commentary desk. Gacy powerbomb Lumis onto Gable. Lumis hits a splash off the top with an assist from Rowen for the win.
