Becky Lynch Says It’s Been A Helluva Career, Being The Man Was An Honor

Becky Lynch‘s latest Instagram post sparked some buzz amid her ongoing absence from WWE.

Lynch entered free agency on June 1, as her WWE contract expired. She lost to WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan on the May 27 episode of WWE Raw, and this marked her final appearance on WWE programming before her contract expired.

Becky Lynch took to Instagram on August 4 and thanked fans for watching her “Biography: WWE Legends” episode that premiered on Sunday night. Lynch also wrote that it had been a “helluva career”, and being “The Man” had been an honor. She then stated that being the mom for her daughter, Roux, is a privilege.

Lynch had a brief run as WWE Women’s World Champion before she lost the title to Morgan. Among other accolades, she is a seven-time champion on the main roster, in addition to a one-time NXT Champion. She had been with WWE since 2013, and she joined the main roster in 2015.

In June, Triple H said that Becky Lynch was on a hiatus. Check out his comments here.

Seth Rollins On Becky Lynch

Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins recently commented on her absence. He was asked about her during the Countdown to WWE Money in the Bank in July.

“’The Man’ is great. She’s great,” Rollins said. “I can’t speak to her future or what she’s got moving forward, but she’s great, she’s in good spirits, and the little one’s awesome as well. She’s three-and-a-half, and she’s a menace. She runs the ship.”

WrestleZone will monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
