MJF sparked some controversy as he took a shot at former WWE chairman Vince McMahon.
AEW American Champion MJF is set to face Kyle Fletcher on the August 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. Fletcher beat Brian Cage on the August 3 episode of AEW Collision.
Taking to Twitter, MJF then insulted Kyle Fletcher. He said that Fletcher looked “like MGK and Ellen Degeneres’s dumpster baby.”
A Twitter user replied by saying, “Vinny Mac would never allow his top guy to say something” like that. The post included a GIF of Vince McMahon. MJF responded by saying, “You’re right. He’d ask me to f*ck his secretary in front of him while he sh*ts on her head. Get lost Bot.”
MJF’s comments clearly referenced Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, in which she alleged that McMahon and Laurinaitis engaged in sexual assault and sex trafficking. In the suit, Grant alleged that McMahon defecated on her during a threesome. McMahon denied all allegations made in the suit. However, he resigned from WWE and TKO in January 2024. He is under federal investigation for the allegation.
MJF is a former AEW World Champion, and he has become one of the company’s top stars in recent years. He has often been linked to WWE during his time with AEW. But when he returned at AEW Double or Nothing, he made it clear that he was staying with the company.
