Maryse made a surprise appearance ahead of WWE SummerSlam.
The Miz is hosting WWE SummerSlam in Clevland, and he pulled out all stops. During the Countdown to WWE SummerSlam, “The Miz Express” a special tour bus, rolled up to the arena. R-Truth, Johnny Gargano, and Tommaso Ciampa stepped out, with Truth introducing them as DX.
Maryse then came off the bus, as did her husband, The Miz.
Maryse had been absent from WWE programming for quite some time. In February 2024, she revealed that she had serious borderline tumors, and she had to have surgery. In March, she announced that she was tumor-free following surgery.
Maryse returned to WWE for a run alongside The Miz in late 2021 and into the beginning of 2022. She and The Miz lost to Edge and Beth Phoenix at WWE Royal Rumble 2022. Maryse previously won the WWE Divas Championship twice.
