On August 1, All Elite Wrestling taped AEW Collision at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for this weekend. These matches will air on this Saturday’s episode.
The spoilers, courtesy of Fightful, are as follows:
AEW Collision for August 3:
- Christian Cage and the Patriarchy promo. Christian presents Nick Wayne with his trios title but not Killswitch instead giving it to Mother Wayne. House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Malakai Black & Brody King) interrupts. Christian offers Malakai fatherly advice. Bang Bang Gang came out as well. Nick Wayne left to get attacked.
- Dustin Rhodes and Von Erichs promo. Sammy Guevara interrupts and wants to team up with Dustin to earn trust.
- Claudio Castignoli defeated Lee Moriarty (w/ Shane Taylor) & Tomohiro Ishii
- Mistico and Hologram defeated The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) (w/ Smart Mark Sterling)
- Chris Jericho has a promo in Spanish against Mistico
Implications for next week’s Dynamite…
- Jeff Jarrett has a backstage promo about his match vs. Bryan Danielson and challenges him to a no-DQ match
- Timeless Toni Storm in action versus local talent. The Glamour Mariah May came out to be on commentary. Toni Storm jumps her before the match starts. Local talent jumps Storm before the match as well.
- Kyle Fletcher defeated Brian Cage.
- After the match, Fletcher cuts a promo on MJF with Callis in the ring. MJF answers his challenge for the American Title. It’s an eliminator match now.
- Top Flight with Leila Grey promo, which was interrupted by the MxM Collection
- Thunder Rosa def. Taya Valkyrie (w/ Johnny TV)
- Rosa after the match calls out Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo answers and Rosa challenges her to a Texas bull rope match next week.
- Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, and FTR defeated the Undisputed Kingdom and The Beast Mortos
- FTR says they are the lifeblood of AEW and the Acclaimed interrupt with a promo and a brawl ensues. Briscoe says the Elite are trying to divide AEW. Acclaimed refused to shake FTR’s hand.
