Mercedes Moné will return to NJPW at NJPW Capital Collision.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that Moné would compete at NJPW Capital Collision on August 30. Moné is the reigning NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion. She beat Stephanie Vaquer in a Title vs. Title match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door to the gold. She is also the TBS Champion.
NJPW Capital Collision will mark Moné’s first match back in a NJPW ring since NJPW STRONG Resurgence 2023. There, she faced Willow Nightingale in the finals of the tournament to crown the inaugural NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion. Moné suffered an ankle injury in the bout, and Nightingale emerged victorious.
Meanwhile, Mercedes Moné is feuding with Britt Baker in AEW. She will defend the title against Baker at AEW All In.
