Former FCW Wrestler Played Juggernaut In ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

Aaron Reed is featured in Marvel’s latest hit movie.

Deadpool & Wolverine was released globally in the theaters last week, with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackson cast as the lead stars. Elsewhere in the film is a name previously tied to the professional wrestling world, specifically Florida Championship Wrestling.

As revealed on Twitter, former FCW talent Aaron Reed played the role of Juggernaut in the new Deadpool & Wolverine. Reed worked in WWE’s developmental territory of FCW from 2009 until early 2010. There, he formed under the names of Lift Sawyer and Latham.

“I have to give a big thank you to some people behind the scenes that all played a role in making this project so great!” Reed wrote on X. “It was really fun working with you. #deadpoolmovie #juggernaut.”

Vinnie Jones, who originally played Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand, was offered the role again, but he turned it down.

In addition to professional wrestling, Reed has notably ventured into the worlds of bodybuilding, television, and film. Within television, Reed has appeared on Jane The Virgin, NCIS: Los Angeles, French Connection, and Dawn of the Zombie Apocalypse. Reed later emerged in the 2021 action-comedy film Free Guy, which also stars Ryan Reynolds.

Other Deadpool & Wolverine cast members include Emma Corrin, Morena Baccari, Matthew Macfadyen, Aaron Stanford, and Rob Delaney.

While it’s not new footage, Luke Hawx also appeared in the film. Deadpool & Wolverine featured flashback footage from Logan, which saw Hawx’s character get stabbed in the head.
