WWE RAW viewership was down against the Olympics.
Per Wade Keller of the PWTorch, WWE RAW averaged 1.4 million viewers on Monday, when the show aired on SyFy. The show was up against coverage of the Paris Olympics.
The hourly averages are as follows:
- 1st Hour: 1.532 million viewers
- 2nd Hour: 1.463 million viewers
- 3rd Hour: 1.241 million viewers
Monday’s number is down from last week, when RAW averaged 1.793 million on USA Network.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW averaged a 0.51 rating, which is also down from last week (0.59).
What Happened On This Week’s WWE RAW?
The July 29 episode of RAW was the go-home show ahead of WWE SummerSlam. In the opening segment, Seth Rollins delivered his referee rules to Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. Elsewhere on the show, Sheamus faced Bronson Reed, and Karrion Kross faced Xavier Woods.
Plus, the Creed Brothers faced Otis and Akira Tozawa, and Damage CTRL made their surprise return. They brawled with Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville. The latter trio had just defeated Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter.
In the main event, Gunther faced Finn Balor. Gunther then brawled with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at the end of the show.
