CM Punk Calls Drew McIntyre Third Wheel In Match At WWE SummerSlam On WWE RAW

CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins shared the ring one more time ahead of WWE SummerSlam on WWE RAW.

Seth Rollins kicked off the July 29 episode of WWE RAW and looked ahead to WWE SummerSlam. He said that they were there to lay out some rules for the match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Rollins called the competitors down to the ring. He said that the two of them could not lay a finger on each other or on him, as they would risk getting the match nixed.

Punk left the ring and noted that he was worried about what he would do, so he removed himself from the ring. Rollins told him that Punk wouldn’t get to call the shots here. He said that he volunteered to be the referee because McIntyre and Punk had scared off everyone else. Punk called Rollins a “boot-licking office boy” but got back in the ring.

McIntyre noted that he and Rollins had a business rivalry, whereas Punk was the enemy, as he was a cancer. Rollins agreed that he hated Punk, but he hated McIntyre as well. He returned to the task at hand and brought up the rules for the match. Rollins said the only rule was that Punk and McIntyre would listen to him, as he would call the shots. He stated that disqualifications were the referee’s discretion.
