On July 28th, Game Changer Wrestling presented Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI. The show will air on TrillerTV.
Among other bouts, WWE’s Shayna Baszler faced Miyu Yamashita. Plus, Charlie Dempsey faced Royce Isaacs, Brutus Creed took on Tom Lawlor, and Julius Creed clashed with Matt Makowski.
The results are as follows:
- The competitors all came out to the ring, and Shayna Baszler hyped up the crowd.
- Heddi Karaoui def. Brian Johnson via submission.
- Johnson walked away when Karaoui offered him a post-match handshake.
- Julius Creed def. Matt Makowski via TKO.
- Masha Slamovich def. Jody Threat via TKO.
- Royce Isaacs def. Charlie Dempsey via submission.
- Isaacs and Dempsey hugged after the match.
- Mike Bailey def. AKIRA via TKO
- Brutus Creed def. Tom Lawlor via TKO.
- Homicide def. Mike Santana via stoppage.
- Homicide attacked the referee after the match. Santana got back to his feet, and they teased keeping the match going, but the referee confirmed his decision.
- Josh Barnett def. Bad Dude Tito via TKO.
- MVP came out after the match and said that his contract with another company was coming up, and he was not going back. He said that he was not ready to retire, and he challenged Barnett to face him at a Bloodsport show. Barnett accepted the challenge and teased that MVP was welcome to bring anybody he knew with him.
- Timothy Thatcher vs. Josh Woods ended in a draw
- Woods and Thatcher were brawling at ringside. Thatcher got back in the ring right at the ten count, so it seemed like Woods got counted out. The announcer then confirmed that the referee ruled that the match was a draw, as both competitors were counted out.
- Shayna Baszler def. Miyu Yamashita
- Baszler grabbed a microphone after the match and said she owed all of her success in wrestling to Josh Barnett. She recalled retiring from MMA and training with Barnett. Baszler thanked the fans.
