Dustin Rhodes is proud of Cody Rhodes, but he loves the work he’s doing in AEW.
Dustin Rhodes, 55, continues to compete at a high level, as he has teamed up with The Von Erichs in AEW and Ring of Honor. At ROH Death Before Dishonor, the trio beat The Dark Order.
Speaking at the ROH Death Before Dishonor post-show media scrum, Dustin Rhodes was asked about wrestling for ROH while Cody Rhodes was on tour in Japan for WWE.
“I’m proud of Cody. He’s doing an amazing job, right,” Dustin Rhodes said. “We’re over here kicking ass, and I love being a part of AEW. It’s the best place I’ve ever worked in my entire career. It’s incredible, and I thank Tony for that. I thank all the guys and the girls here. Everybody’s sweet as pie, and it’s a fun place to be.
“The energy we have here just makes you want to go out it and perform. When you have an empty tank, like for me, there’s always a little bit more because the energy in these buildings, the fans are so responsive, so crazy, so loud. I’m happy for my brother. I’m doing God’s work here, and we’re fixing to take the world, the Von Erichs and the Rhodes.”

At AEW Battle of the Belts VI, Rhodes and the Von Erichs beat Undisputed Kingdom to win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
