Tony Khan believes Bryan Danielson will be sticking around in AEW for quite some time after he ends his run as a full-time performer later this year.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan recently sat down with TJ Jefferson of The Rich Eisen Show. When asked about Bryan Danielson wrapping up his full-time career this year, Khan admitted it’s going to be a sad day for him and professional wrestling as a whole.
“I can’t say how much time Bryan has left in the ring, but he has said this will be his final year,” Tony Khan said. “And this is going to be the year Bryan hangs him up from full-time wrestling, and at that point, it’s going to be a sad day for pro wrestling and for me personally, but it’s great to be able to have Bryan that I can call and talk to or have in the locker room with us every week.”
Bryan Danielson plans to stay with AEW
When asked about the status of Danielson in the company following the end of his full-time run as a professional wrestler this year, Khan revealed Bryan is planning to stay with them for a long time and he hopes he stays with AEW for the rest of his life.
“Absolutely 100%,” Tony Khan stated. “I hope Bryan will stay here for the rest of his life, and I know he’s planning to stay with us for a long time going forward as part of the company. Hopefully, I would want Bryan to stay with us as long as humanly possible.”
