Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will open the July 19th episode of WWE SmackDown.
In a tweet, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis confirmed that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes would kick off the show. Rhodes agreed to defend his title against Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam last week, and The Bloodline attacked him and Randy Orton.
Aldis also announced that Tiffany Stratton will face Michin. Finally, Aldis said that WWE United States Champion Logan Paul and LA Knight would sign the contract for their title match at WWE SummerSlam.
The updated card is as follows:
- WWE SummerSlam contract signing with Logan Paul and Logan Paul
- Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
- Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes kicks off the show
- Tiffany Stratton vs. Michin
WrestleZone will have coverage of SmackDown as it airs on Friday.
