Kevin Owens Provides Positive Health Update On His Mom

Kevin Owens has some good news about his mother.

The Canadian star delivered an emotional message on Smackdown this month. He spoke about his mother, who had been hospitalized for an unnamed reason. Owens said that his mom was “fighting like hell”, and that he could have been in the hospital with her instead.

There had been no update on her health since then. He wrestled the next night at Money in the Bank 2024, but hasn’t competed in a WWE ring since then (according to Cagematch). This had people worried about his mom’s health, but Kevin Owens has posted some good news on his social media.

He posted a short update on Twitter about his mother’s help. The former Universal Champion posted a photo of her sat upright in a hospital bed. She is smiling at the camera, holding one of Kevin Owens’ shirts which says “Just Keep Fighting”.

As if the photo wasn’t clear enough, he posted the simple three word statement: “She Kicked Out”.

While he doesn’t go into specifics, this looks like fantastic news for Kevin Owens and his mother.

Kevin Owens Said His Son Has Started Wrestling

Kevin Owens could see his son following in his footsteps, as he stepped into a ring for the first time recently.

The WWE Superstar appeared on NHL Now, where he was presenting a WWE Championship belt to the Stanley Cup winners. He revealed that his son Owen has started wrestling at the age of 16. Given his dad is a former WWE World Champion, he will have the best chance of becoming a wrestler if he continues his training.

“He’s [Owen Steen] 16, he’s back there. He’s six-foot-eight., he’s hard to miss. He got in the ring last week for the first time, so yeah, that might be an avenue.”

“It was pretty awesome to see. With WWE obviously, I’m able to kind of bring him to the best possible place to start training. So, it’s great to see him kind of have the interest, at least give it a shot and see what happens… Yeah, it’s a real thrill.”
