7/17 WWE Speed Features First Time-Limit Draw In Show’s History, Title Match Set For 7/24

The new #1 Contender’s Tournament continued on the July 17th episode of WWE Speed.

Ilja Dragunov battled Carmelo Hayes on Wednesday’s episode, and the match ended in a time-limit draw. This marked the first time-limit draw in the history of the show.

In their post-match comments, Dragunov noted that Hayes was the one person who could push him to the limit, while Hayes called himself one of the best talents in the world.

Due to the time-limit draw, Baron Corbin, who previously defeated Angelo Dawkins to advance in the tournament, moved on to the finals. Andrade will defend the WWE Speed Championship against him on July 24th.
