Pro Wrestling Drama ‘The Queen Of Villains’ To Premiere 9/19 On Netflix

The new pro wrestling drama series, The Queen of Villains, centered around the career of Dump Matsumoto, is coming to Netflix this September.

Netflix took to social media this morning to announce The Queen of Villains series coming to their streaming platform on September 19, tweeting out:

“In the 1980s, Dump Matsumoto took on all of Japan as the most terrifying heel in women’s pro wrestling. This is her untold story. The Queen of Villains premieres on September 19,” Netflix said in a tweet.

The series stars comedian Yuriyan Retriever as Dump Matsumoto. It also features Erika Karata as Chigusa Nagayo and Ayame Goriki as Lioness Asuka. No other cast has been announced at this time.

The five-episode series is centered around exploring the untold story of the rise of Dump Matsumoto in All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling in the 1980s.
