Roxanne Perez name-dropped some potential challengers and faced off with her next contender, as the stage was set for her title match at NXT Great American Bash.
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez came to the ring on the July 16th episode of WWE NXT. She brought up Stephanie Vaquer, who recently signed with WWE, and Giulia, who reportedly agreed to join the company months ago. Perez noted that all the talk online was that she was in trouble when Giulia and Vaquer came to NXT. Perez responded to the buzz by saying that nobody compared to her.
As for NXT Great American Bash, Thea Hail came out and confronted Perez. She said that she would rewrite the history books when she faced Perez at NXT Great American Bash. Perez brushed her off, saying that Hail was not ready. Hail fired back by saying that she had been proving doubters all along, and she would continue to do so when she faced Perez.
