The Miz Celebrates Impressive Golf Shot With Jason & Travis Kelce, Says Life Is About Moments

The Miz made up for a poor golf performance with a moment alongside Jason and Travis Kelce.

The former WWE Champion competed in the America Century Championship this weekend. A keen golfer, he failed to shine in the celebrity tournament, finishing 85th out of 89 golfers in a disappointing finish.

However, The Miz had a moment to celebrate on the course, as seen on WWE Monday Night Raw. On the 17th hole, The Miz made it onto the green with his first shot, and celebrated wildly.

He was videoed doing a jumping chest bump with Jason Kelce. The pair both appeared at WrestleMania 40 earlier this year, with Jason Kelce helping Rey Mysterio during his match on the show.

This was followed up by another jumping chest bump with Travis Kelce, the former football star and boyfriend of Taylor Swift. These were analyzed by Pat McAfee on Raw, who discussed The Miz’s poor golfing performance.

However, he is not one to dwell on his failures. The Miz took to Twitter to reply to McAfee’s stinging comments about his golf game. He noted that, while people won’t remember him making the green on a par 3, they will remember his wild celebration with the Kelce brothers.

He added that life is about moments rather than about finishing 85th out of 89.

“People in attendance won’t remember what place I got but they will remember that moment on 17. Life is about moments.”

The Miz Wants One More Match With John Cena

The Miz wants to work with John Cena again before he retires.

The pair famously wrestled in the main event of WrestleMania 27. They also teamed together on the Raw after WrestleMania 40, alongside R-Truth.

However, with Cena recently announcing his upcoming retirement, The Miz admitted he would like to work with the 16-time champion once more before he retired. Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, The Miz said;

“It’s crazy, right? Never did I think he would say he would retire, that WrestleMania 41 will be his last WrestleMania,” Miz said. “Then he’ll have some matches after. That’s just like John Cena, right? He is like, ‘I’m not just going to do WrestleMania. I’m going to do all these events.’ I think it’s so great for the younger generation who will hopefully get to work with him. I selfishly would like to work with him one more time.”
