Major League Wrestling and a former champion have parted ways.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Rickey Shane Page is now a free agent, as he is no longer under contract with MLW. Per Sapp, it was an amicable departure, and the two sides are on good terms.
Page last wrestled for the company at MLW Battle Riot on June 1. He had been with the promotion for the past two years, and he worked as an agent. During his time with the company, he held the National Openweight Championship and the MLW World Tag Team Championship with AKIRA.
Page has continued to wrestle on the independent scene in recent months.
