AEW Collision Results (7/13/24): Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly Take On Undisputed Kingdom

AEW Collision Results – July 13, 2024

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with a match between Konosuke Takeshita and Tommy Billington.

Konosuke Takeshita defeated “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington

  • Konosuke Takeshita hits Tommy Billington with the T-Trigger to score the pinfall victory.

After the match, Don Callis puts Billington over and says he gave a tremendous effort. Callis runs down the history of their two families and says he wants to be Billington’s mentor. Callis offers him a spot in the Don Callis Family. Billington shakes Callis’ hand but tells him to kiss his ass.

Don Callis slaps Tommy Billington and he and Konsuke Takeshita attack him. Kyle Fletcher runs in to join in on the beatdown. FTR returns to make the save and attack the Don Callis Family until they retreat up the ramp. The crowd is very excited about the surprise return of FTR.

A video package plays, recapping the end of AEW Dynamite when Mariah May turned on Toni Storm.

Bullet Club Gold (Juice Robinson and The Gunns) defeated Michael Allen Richard Clark, Shaun Moore, and London Lightning

  • The Gunns hit 310 to Yuma to score the pinfall victory for their team.

Bullet Club Gold stripped of the AEW Trios Titles on Collision

After the match, Bullet Club Gold announced that Jay White was injured last week by Christian Cage, but they will continue on as the AEW Trios Champions. Christopher Daniels comes out and says if a member of a championship team gets injured they can’t be replaced and strips them of the Trios Titles.

Christian Cage and The Patriarchy come out onto the stage. Cage says Daniels made the right call of stripping them of the titles and asks him to anoint them as the new champions right now. Daniels says Tony Khan won’t like that suggestion, but announces a match between Bullet Club Gold and The Patriarchy for the vacant Trios Titles.

Juice Robinson says they are ready to do it right now. Christian Cage says he’s not going to do it in Calgary and he’ll see them down the road.

House of Black are backstage. Malakai Black says starting next week they will begin to build the foundation towards Wembley. Brody King barks.

Roderick Strong (w/ Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) defeated Dalton Castle (w/ The Outrunners)

  • Roderick Strong hits Dalton Castle with a knee lift to score the pinfall victory.

Strong will now challenge Mark Briscoe for the Ring of Honor World Championship at Death Before Dishonor later this month.

Mark Briscoe cuts a promo via satellite

They cut to a promo from Mark Briscoe at his home in Sandy Fort, Delaware. Mark Briscoe says AEW blessed him with a week off but there are no days off for him. Briscoe hypes up the Blood & Guts match later this month. Briscoe turns his attention to Roderick Strong and says they’ve done this dance before. Mark says at Death Before Dishonor that Roddy’s ass is his.

We get another vignette for the new mysterious AEW competitor who appears to be named Hologram. The video package makes it seem like he’ll debut on Collision next week.

Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway are backstage. Statlander says he’s a hater and Stokely is petty and that’s why they got involved in Willow Nightingale’s match on Dynamite. Stokely says he hoped that Statlander knocked some sense into Statlander but it’s hard to talk to someone whose favorite color is three.

Hathaway calls Willow the biggest con artist in AEW history. Stokely says Nightingale preaches if you smile everything will work out, and he wants to know how that’s worked out for her. Stokely says everything Willow has gotten this year has been because of them. Statlander says it’s never going to be over between them.

Nyla Rose defeated Ava Lawless

  • Nyla Rose hits Ava Lawless with the Beast Bomb to score the pinfall victory.

A video package plays, hyping the AEW World Championship match between Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson at All In.

Top Flight (w/ Action Andretti) defeated Lee Moriarty and Anthony Ogogo (w/ Shane Taylor)

  • Darius Martin hits Lee Moriarty with an F5 variation to score the pinfall victory.

A Lumberjack match is announced for AEW Collision next week

Shane Taylor Promotion lay out Top Flight and Action Andretti after the match.

Deonna Purrazzo is backstage. She’s confronted by Thunder Rosa who challenges her to a Lumberjack match next week on Collision.

Nyla Rose is backstage. Rose accepts Mercedes Moné’s open challenge for the TBS Championship this Wednesday night on Dynamite.

Skye Blue defeated Harley Cameron (w/ Saraya)

  • Skye Blue lock Harley Cameron in a submission to score the win via tapout.

After the commercial break, Skye Blue is backstage and challenges Hikaru Shida to a match next week on Collision.

The Undisputed Kingdom defeated Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly

  • Tomohiro Ishii brawls with Roderick Strong at ringside as Trent Beretta gets involved and attacks Orange Cassidy, allowing Bennett and Taven to hit O’Reilly with a spike piledriver to score the pinfall victory.

Trent goes after O’Reilly after the match but Orange Cassidy attacks him with a wrench. O’Reilly calms Cassidy down as AEW Collision goes off the air.
