George Kittle Shares His Two Favorite WrestleMania 40 Moments

George Kittle has revealed what he loved when he was spotted at WrestleMania this year.

The NFL tight end was spotted in the crowd at WrestleMania 40. He was in attendance for some incredible moments, including an all-star finish to the Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns title match in the main event.

He remained in the crowd this year, following his bigger part at WrestleMania 39. There, he hit the ring to attack The Miz, helping Pat McAfee pick up the win on his return to WWE.

Despite only being a fan this year, he still enjoyed himself. George Kittle spoke on The Rich Eisen Show, and was asked what his favorite moment from this year’s WrestleMania was.

He gave two. The first was the main event, where John Cena and The Undertaker made surprise appearances to help Cody Rhodes beat Roman Reigns. The second was the crowd singing along to the “Hey, Bayley!” song for the entirety of her match with IYO SKY.

“My favorite part? I would say I had two favorite parts. I think the main event of the last night when everybody showed up. That was complete chaos. I wanted so bad to jump into the ring. The other one would be when Bayley was fighting and the whole crowd was singing:”

“‘Hey Bayley, I want to know, will you be my girl?'”

“…and it went on for the entire match.”

George Kittle saw Jason Kelce & Lane Johnson backstage at WrestleMania

George Kittle continued to talk about his day at WrestleMania. He revealed that he met the Philadelphia Eagles head of security backstage, who introduced him to Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson.

The two NFL stars were preparing for their run-in to help Rey Mysterio in his WrestleMania match when Kittle met them backstage.

“We’re pulling in the car, like where you get dropped off for a game, where the buses are, and I see the Eagles’ head of security. I’ve never talked to him before. The only thing I’ve ever heard is like whatever happened in that game, but John Lynch always said he was an incredible person. He was like, ‘Don’t even think about that, he’s amazing, everybody loves him, he’s fantastic.’ I was like, ‘Alright, sounds good.’

“So, I decided to go say hi. Why not? I’ve never met him before. The last time we had any interaction was at that game, so I was like, ‘Yeah, it’s got to be fantastic.’ I just walked up and said, ‘What’s up, dude? Nice to meet you finally.’ We talked for a couple of minutes, and I asked, ‘What’s going on?’ He was like, ‘Lane (Johsnon) and (Jason) Kelsey are here. They’re about to go out.’ He was super low-key. I was like, ‘I can’t wait. Let’s go see them.’

“I got to see Lane and Jason right before they went out. Jason’s better half, his wife, is phenomenal. So, we hung out there for a little bit, just talking. It was really funny because they were already ready to go in their cut-offs and jeans. I was like, ‘When do you guys go out?’ They said they were one of the last matches. I was like, ‘You guys are already ready to go.'”
