Former TNA/WWE star EC3 is the current reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion. EC3 has been defending the “Ten Pounds Of Gold” all over the world.
EC3 recently achieved a huge milestone in the National Wrestling Alliance. He has defended his championship successfully over 30 times. NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli mentioned that this record earned a place in NWA History for EC3.
”It’s a huge accomplishment for EC3,” said Galli, “And it certainly earns him a place in modern National Wrestling Alliance history!”
The only other person who has more successful title defenses than the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion is Nick Aldis.
EC3 defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in countries such as France, Italy, and many more.
EC3 shares the continents he would love to wrestle in
Recently, EC3 was interviewed by Wrestlezone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the interview, the former WWE Superstar mentioned that he would love to wrestle in Uganda at Soft Ground Wrestling before Cody Rhodes provides them with a wrestling ring.
“I really want to get into those mud pits. Wrestling with the no ropes. I believe Cody bought them a ring though,” EC3 explained. “I want to get there before the ring shows up. I am 100% putting that into the atmosphere and manifesting that I do want to do that. But I mean, anywhere, in the… this dimension of Earth. I’ll defend it in Africa.”
