Eddie Kingston briefly comments on undergoing surgery.
AEW star Eddie Kingston has been out of action since he suffered an injury in his match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence on May 11. It was later confirmed that he tore his ACL and meniscus, and he would be out longer than expected because he was advised to wait to get surgery.
In a post on Instagram, Kingston seemingly confirmed that he underwent surgery. He shared a picture in which he can be seen at the hospital. In the post, Kingston wrote wrote, “Well, it’s done. So what up!”
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Kingston was advised that it would be ten months before he would return to the ring, barring any setbacks. This would place his potential return sometime in May 2025.
