Tyler Bate has been sidelined with an injury.
On the July 8 episode of WWE RAW, Pete Dunne faced Bronson Reed in a singles match. On commentary, Michael Cole noted that Dunne’s tag team partner, Tyler Bate, suffered an injury on the July 2 episode of WWE NXT, so he could be out of action for a little bit. Bate and Dunne scored the win against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger on NXT. Additional details were not provided, and there is no word on how long Bate will sidelined.
Dunne went on to lose to Reed. When Reed went to attack Dunne after the bell, Sheamus came down and made the save. Dunne then left the ring to end the temporary Brawling Brutes reunion, at least for the time being.
