Je’Von Evans is looking forward to turning it up at WWE NXT Heatwave.
Je’Von Evans has only been with NXT for a few months, but he has quickly climbed into title contention. He will challenge for the NXT Championship in a four-way match at NXT Heatwave on July 7.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Je’on Evans shared his thoughts about the match.
“I have an opportunity to learn from some of the best wrestlers in the world,” Je’Von Evans said. “This isn’t the end for me–it’s the beginning.
“I still have a goal to get to the main roster. NXT is making me better. When they think I’m ready, I’ll turn it up on the main roster, too. But I can’t wait to turn it up at Heatwave.”
Evans went on to reiterate that the title match was a big opportunity, and he said he could not wait to show people what he could do.
“It’s a big opportunity,” Je’Von Evans said. “I can’t wait to show people what I can do.”
