“Once I graduated, I started going crazy on the indies,” Je’Von Evans said. “All I wanted to get paid was a little money for food. I was grinding, and it paid off.”
Evans then said that WWE talent scout Gabe Sapolsky was in attendance at GCW For The Culture 2023, and he was so impressed that he spoke with Evans after the match. They exchanged information, and Evans signed with WWE a few months later.
Heading into NXT Heatwave, Evans has his sights set on the gold, and he wants to capitalize on the opportunity.
