WWE SmackDown Viewership Dips On 6/28, Demo Also Down

WWE SmackDown‘s viewership dipped on June 28.

According to Programming Insider, an average of 2.256 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.66 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The numbers are down from last week’s episode, when 2.34 million viewers tuned in and SmackDown drew a 0.73 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with The Bloodline being attacked by Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Nick Aldis has Rhodes, Orton, and KO arrested and ejected from the building.

LA Knight picked up a win over Logan Paul and Santos Escobar to qualify for the Men’s Money in the Bank match.

In the women’s division, Naomi and Tiffany Stratton qualified for their Money in the Bank match.

The close of the show witnessed Paul Heyman refusing to acknowledge Solo Sikoa at his Tribal Chief. The Bloodline attacked Heyman and put him through the commentator’s table.
