One of the rising stars on WWE programming is one-half of the current NXT World Tag Team Champions, Nathan Frazer. Frazer is only 25 years old. He signed with WWE back in 2020 and in that time, he has been able to capture the NXT UK Heritage Cup. As mentioned earlier, he is one-half of the NXT World Tag Team Champions along with his partner, Axiom.
Recently, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer compared Frazer to AEW wrestler Will Ospreay. Meltzer claimed that Frazer reminded him of a young Ospreay because of Frazer’s speed, athleticism, and as a complete package.
“It’s funny because he was reminding me of a young Will Ospreay, you know what I mean? Just where the athleticism and the speed and everything. He does things everybody else does, like Will Ospreay used to do when he was younger. Same moves that other people did but somehow they looked so much better and more flashy because of the speed and everything that he did them in,” Dave Meltzer said. [H/T WrestleTalk]
Nathan Frazer took note of the comment and reacted to it on Twitter. The NXT World Tag Team Champion will happily take the compliment.
“Screw it… I’ll take the compliment,” Nathan Frazer tweeted.
It is safe to say that the Aerial Assassin Will Ospreay is one of the most popular professional wrestlers in the entire world. Ospreay is the current AEW International Champion. He is on his way to Canada for the Forbidden Door pay-per-view to challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
