AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 6/26, Demo Also Rises

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on June 26.

According toWrestlenomics, 680,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.22 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is way up from last week’s episode, when 502,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.16 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a three-way promo between MJF, Daniel Garcia, and Will Ospreay. Garcia will face Ospreay for the International Championship on Dynamite next week.

Toni Storm, Mariah May, and Mina Shirakawa defeated defeated Saraya, Harley Cameron, and Anna Jay in a trios match. Mina tried to attack Toni afterward with a champagne bottle but accidentally hit Mariah instead.

Jay White was also in action, defeating Rey Fenix to advance in the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. He will face the winner of the match between Jeff Jarrett and the Wild Card next Wednesday night.

The main event saw Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay defeat The Gates of Agony. Ospreay once again snatched the title from Strickland, and Swerve laid him out to end the show.
