The Young Bucks are determined to bring the world title back to The Elite; they have inserted the Wild Card into the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
On the June 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks appeared backstage. They looked forward to the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and said that The Elite would have all the gold after AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, as Jack Perry would win the TNT Championship.
Matthew Jackson went on to announce that The Elite have inserted their own Wild Card into the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. He said that this individual would run through the tournament and bring the world title back to the Elite
The Wild Card entrant in the tournament will face Jeff Jarrett on the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. The winner of the tournament will earn a world title shot at AEW All In.
