Report: Former WWE Team Has Had Talks With AEW/ROH

A former WWE team has been discussed for some appearances with AEW/ROH.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) previously reported that MxM (Mason Madden (Mace and Mansoor) were backstage at an AEW Collision taping, but they were not used. Sapp also wrote that Mansoor was backstage at AEW Dynamite in Los Angeles. Per Sapp, the former Maximum Male models have been speaking with AEW/ROH recently.

In an update, Sapp cited AEW sources who noted that Madden and Mansoor have been discussed for appearances on the ROH brand. The report states that it is not definitive, and there is no word on whether a deal has been signed. However, “some materials” were prepared in the event that they do come in.

Mansoor and Madden were released by WWE in a wave of cuts in September 2023. Since then, they have been active on the independent scene. They have wrestled for Beyond., DEADLOCK Pro-Wrestling, Black Label Pro, and other companies.

WrestleZone will provide mote information as it becomes available.
