Dax Harwood got a special gift for his birthday.
In a tweet on June 26, AEW star Dax Harwood noted that his wife, Maria, and his tag team partner, Cash Wheeler, got him a gift for his 40th birthday. He wrote that he never thought he would get to his point in his career.
The post includes a video in which Harwood can be seen sitting at a table. He is then surprised when Bret Hart walks up to him. The WWE Hall of Famer shakes Harwood’s hand, and they embrace.
Harwood has been public about how he is a huge fan of Hart. He has talked about how “The Hitman” has been a major influence on him.

“He’s that guy that just touched lives. So for us to be able to say that there has been so many Legends that we’ve lost in the past couple of years that I would have loved to have gotten the chance to work with like we never got to work with Bobby Eaton, stuff like that, I don’t want to miss out on those anymore,” FTR said. “Even if it’s just a one-night thing, where he’s backstage, hanging out, just giving advice to people, that would be cool just to get to work with Bret and let him know how much he’s influenced us.”
Harwood recently revealed that he was dealing with a back injury. As a result, he will be sidelined for the foreseeable future. More information is available here.
