Drew McIntyre is at it again.
CM Punk cost McIntyre his world title match against Damian Priest at WWE Clash at the Vastle. On the June 17 episode of WWE RAW, McIntyre said that he quit WWE. McIntyre then attacked Punk and bloodied him on the June 21 episode of WWE SmackDown.
In a tweet, Drew McIntyre shared an edited picture in which his face was PhotoShopped onto Punk when the latter was on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. During the interview, Punk controversially opened up about his departure from AEW.
In McIntyre’s post, he referenced what Punk said but substituted his own situation into it.
“I turned to Paul Levesque, I said, “This place is a f*ucking joke and you’re a clown. I quit.”
McIntyre has referenced Punk’s turbulent run in AEW in previous social media posts, including his infamous rant following AEW All Out 2022.
