Samoa Joe has issued a challenge for a massive Trios match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, that would pit Joe and a team against The Learning Tree.
Tonight on AEW Collision, Joe called out The Learning Tree and said he, HOOK, and Katusyori Shibata would face off against them at Forbidden Door. The challenge came after Chris Jericho and Big Bill took down Private Party in a tag team match, and continued to attack them afterward before Joe and his friends came in to make the save.
While the match has yet to be made official, the fully updated card for Forbidden Door continues to get packed, and now includes:
- AEW World Championship: Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Will Ospreay
- AEW TNT Championship: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Dante Martin vs. participants TBD
