AEW Collision Results – June 22, 2024

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with Trios action as HOOK, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata take on The Premier Athletes.

Samoa Joe, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata defeated The Premier Athletes (w/ Smart Mark Sterling)

  • Katsuyori Shibata locks Tony Nese in a cross armbreaker to score the submission victory for his team.

Juice Robinson and The Gunns are backstage. Robinson is upset that AEW won’t acknowledge the fact that he’s one-fourth of the Unified Trios Champions, The House of Black is getting a title shot, and PAC is getting in their business next week. Robinson says Jay White is training hard to return for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Chris Jericho and Big Bill (w/ Bryan Keith) defeated Private Party

  • Bryan Keith hits Isiah Kassidy with brass knuckles allowing Chris Jericho to get the pinfall victory for his team.

The Learning Tree attacks Private Party after the match, which brings out Samoa Joe, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata, who clean house and send Jericho running. Samoa Joe challenges The Learning Tree to a trios match at Forbidden Door next Sunday.

The Rainmaker in action on AEW Collision

AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada defeated Ultimo Guerrero in an Eliminator Match

  • Kazuchika Okada hits Ultimo Guerrero with a Rainmaker knocking his mask off in the process to score the pinfall victory.

Top Flight and Action Andretti are backstage. Dante Martin says the last time he was in a ladder match, he got injured and broke his leg. Martin says he’s going back into that environment, and everyone says he’s crazy, but it’s gonna take a little bit of crazy to become the new TNT Champion.

Lio Rush comes in and once again tries to make peace with Top Flight and Action Andretti. Things seem to be better between them but both Lio and Dante know there won’t be any friends in the ladder match at Forbidden Door.

The Patriarchy (w/ Mother Wayne) defeated Iron Savages and Jacked Jameson

  • Christian Cage joins the commentary team for the majority of the match. Cage eventually joins the action when things are well in hand and hits the Killswitch on Bronson to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Timeless Toni Storm and Mariah May (w/ Luther) defeated Leyla Hirsch and Lady Frost

  • Toni Storm hits Storm Zero on Leyla Hirsch. Mariah May scores the pinfall victory for her team.

Serena Deeb issues an open challenge for next week’s show

Serena Deeb is backstage reflecting on her recent losing streak. Deeb says she knows how this goes, as sometimes you’re on the up and sometimes you’re on the down, and she needs to stop this and get herself back on track. Deeb says she will be in Buffalo next week on Collision and issues an open challenge for next week’s show.

Malakai Black and Brody King defeated LSG and MSG

  • House of Black wins in a quick squash match. Brody King scores the win for his team.

Ian Riccaboni interviews House of Black on the stage and asks them about the injury to Buddy Matthews last week. Malakai Black says that’s a human question and walks away. Brody King says revenge is never a straight line; they feel nothing.

Hechicero (w/ The Gates of Agony) defeated Daddy Magic Matt Menard

  • Hechicero locks Daddy Magic in a submission hold to score the victory.
