Qualifying matches for the Men’s Money in the Bank match continued on the June 21 episode of WWE SmackDown.
First, Randy Orton clashed with Carmelo Hayes and Tama Tonga in a hard-fought Triple Threat match. The three stars went back and forth, but Orton took control with a double spike DDT. Tonga Loa came out, and Orton dropped him. Kevin Owens fought him off, but Hayes capitalized and pinned the distracted Orton for the win.
Later in the show, Kevin Owens faced Andrade and Grayson Waller in another qualifier. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attacked Owens during his entrance, but Orton made the save. Owens persevered and competed as scheduled, and the three competitors battled it out. Andrade wowed the crowd with an acrobatic powerbomb.
Owens, Andrade, and Waller kept waging war. Waller rallied, but Andrade rocked him with double knees in the corner. Owens fired up with some strikes. Owens took out his opponents with a powerbomb/suplex combination. He then hit a Swanton Bomb. Owens countered The Message and dropped Andrade with a Stunner. Waller dropped Owens with a DDT on the floor. Andrade then scored the win with The Message on Waller.
With the win, Andrade joins Jey Uso in the Men’s Money in the Bank match. Qualifying matches will continue on the June 24 episode of WWE RAW.
