Atlantis Jr. Issues Challenge For ROH World Television Championship, Kyle Fletcher Retains

Ring of Honor World Television Kyle Fletcher defended his title against Lee Johnson on the June 20 episode of ROH TV. A new contender has stepped up, as CMLL star Atlantis Jr. has expressed his interest in the title.

As seen on the June 20 episode of ROH TV, Atlantis Jr. appeared in a video message. He said that he wants to challenge the winner of the Kyle Fletcher and Lee Johnson match for the Ring of Honor World Television championship. The CMLL star also said that he wants the match to take place in his home town of Mexico City at Arena Mexico.

“Hello guys. I am Atlantis Jr. A professional wrestler of CMLL. And I have a special message. I want to challenge the winner of Lee Johnson and Kyle Fletcher for the Ring of Honor TV Title. But I want to face the winner in my house, Arena Mexico (in Mexico City, Mexico). I want to show the world that the best wrestlers are from Mexico City on CMLL,” Atlantis Jr. said.

The match between Fletcher and Atlantis Jr. has yet to be confirmed. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.

Kyle Fletcher On AEW Potentially Coming To Australia

Meanwhile, Kyle Fletcher recently mentioned to Good Karma Wrestling that he wants his home country of Australia to host an AEW show.

“As soon as Wembley happened and I saw how big of a success it was, I was like, we can do this,” Kyle Fletcher said. “We can do this 100%. I have no doubt in my mind whenever it happens. Because in my head, I’m already manifesting it into existence. When it happens, it’s gonna go off, and it’s gonna be incredible. We’re gonna put on a sick show, and I can’t wait. I’m gonna push for it as hard as I possibly can.”
