Rob Van Dam isn’t sure his WWE status is in good standing now that Vince McMahon is out of the picture.
WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. When asked about the new regime in WWE and whether he’s considered returning to the active roster, RVD offered an interesting response regarding his relationship, or lack thereof, with Triple H.
“Yeah, right now, they seem to just want to pay me to stay at home,” RVD admitted. “And they made a couple of new action figures on me this year and put me on a video game or something. I think everyone is excited. It seems like it’s a good thing for business overall, with the changes.
“For me, personally, I can’t imagine that I’m in a better light, necessarily, unless somebody in the office wants to do something really different and sees value where somebody else doesn’t. To be more specific. I think I had a good relationship with Vince, the other guy… I don’t know.”
Rob Van Dam last appeared on WWE programming during the 2024 Hall of Fame ceremony during Paul Heyman’s induction.
