Bryan Danielson will be in action at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
As announced on the June 19 episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson will face NJPW’s Shingo Takagi at the pay-per-view on June 30. The two stars will clash in a quarterfinal match in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament. The winner of the tournament will earn a world title shot at AEW All In.
Takagi is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and NEVER Openweight Champion, among other accolades. He has competed at both Forbidden Door 2022 and 2023. Danielson has said that he will wrap up his career as a full-time wrestler in 2024.
