The June 18 episode of WWE NXT is not expected to be the last time TNA’s Joe Hendry appears on the brand, according to a new report.
Hendry competed in a battle royal on Tuesday’s episode, but he was quickly eliminated. Backstage, Hendry teased that he could show up on any show and at any time.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Joe Hendry is expected to make more appearances for NXT in the future, per NXT sources. Brennan writes that officials were said to be “very happy” with the reaction that Hendry got. Sapp cited TNA sources who noted that they were happy that Hendry’s storyline was continued on NXT. Others wished that he got a more extended appearance.
