Report: Injury Update On Damian Priest After WWE Clash At The Castle

A new report provides an update on Damian Priest‘s status following WWE Clash at the Castle.

At WWE Clash at the Castle, Damian Priest defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. At one point in the match, Priest’s leg got hung up in the ropes. It seemed like he may have gotten injured, but he finished the bout. At the post-show press conference, Priest said his knee felt like “trash.”

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that it is believed that Damian Priest is 100% okay. Per Johnson, there are no signs that Priest is expected to miss any time or that there were concerns about changing plans for him coming out of the show.

Likewise, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the initial word backstage was that Damian Priest was fine. Priest was said to have received “a lot of praise” for his performance at WWE Clash at the Castle.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
