Ricochet will defend the WWE Speed Championship on June 14.
As seen on the June 12 episode of WWE Speed, Andrade beat Tommaso Ciampa in the #1 Contender’s Tournament finals. Andrade picked up the win with The Message, and in doing so, he earned the right to challenge Ricochet for the WWE Speed Championship. That match will air on the June 14 episode.
The title match comes after Ricochet reportedly handed WWE notice of his intention to leave the company when his contract this summer. Ricochet was viciously attacked by Bron Breakker on the June 10 episode of WWE RAW. After the attack, he was driven away in an ambulance. His match against Andrade was taped in advance.
