Juggalo Championship Wrestling announced the launch of a new series named “JCW Lunacy”.
Rap group Insane Clown Posse founded the JCW promotion in 1999, following stints in WWE, WCW and ECW. They have put on events consistently since then, and look to expand with a new series for streaming or TV in the near future.
The shows will air on a bi-weekly basis, and will be another entry into an already impressive list of wrestling shows on the air today. With stars like Willie Mack, Colt Cabana and James Storm already confirmed, it has an impressive roster of talent ready to go.
Billy Corgan’s NWA helped inspire JCW founders Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope in moving forward with the show.
What is JCW Lunacy about?
“JCW Lunacy” stands out as a unique showcase that aims to “captivate audiences with its high-energy matches, compelling storylines, and unforgettable in-ring action.” The series will feature wrestlers from around the world, including talent from NWA, MLW, TNA, AEW, AAA, and Big Japan.
“I enjoyed having an eye on Billy Corgan and NWA. We’re both Rockstars running healthy promotions on rockstar money. Billy has been running wrestling shows pretty much as long as we have. We’re both alphas kind of thing and we’re friends, well I really like him anyway. JCW has had lots of success and we are looking forward to bringing it back,” – Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse said in a statement issued to WrestleZone. “I have kept an eye on many wrestling promotions and think they’re missing something. I loved and admire the professional wrestling scene and what it has become, I want to give fans an option to watch us along with their other favorite wrestling promotions.”
The start of JCW will feature the following names:
- Willie Mack
- Brothers of Funstruction (Yabo & Ruffo)
- Southern 6 (Silas Mason, Alex Taylor, & Kerry Morton)
- Mad Man Pondo
- Officer Cabana
- James Storm
- Ultimate Ellsworth
- Redwood Giants (Hurtful Kurt & Painful Paul)
- Kongo Kong
- Caleb Konley
- Matt Cross
