Cody Rhodes On NXT Appearance: There’s A ‘Magic’ In NXT, I Wanted Some Of It

Cody Rhodes made a special appearance on this week’s episode of NXT.

Rhodes showed up and had multiple segments on the show. The American Nightmare first showed up to the ring. As he was hyping up his ‘I Quit’ match against AJ Styles at WWE Clash At The Castle, the NXT Champion Trick Williams showed up. Williams wanted Rhodes to enlighten about how he handles the transition from being the hunter to being the hunted.

After Rhodes gave his advice, he revealed that the next challenger for Williams’ title will be decided in a 25-man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal. The American Nightmare also revealed that there will be participants from different rosters.

Later in the night, Rhodes met with Jacey Jane backstage and gave her his infamous ‘Undashing’ face mask.

Fans got to see a reunion with Cody Rhodes, Shawn Spears, ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page, and Lexis King. All four who were together a part of All Elite Wrestling at one point in time. The American Nightmare shook all their hands and said that he thinks they are all in a good place right now.

After the show, Rhodes took to Twitter to share that there is always magic at the Black and Gold brand. He also thanked the NXT locker room and USA Network for allowing him to show up and spend time with the stars at NXT.

“Like I said There’s a “magic” at @WWENXT and I wanted some of it. Thank you to the locker room and @USANetwork for having me!” Cody Rhodes tweeted.
