AEW Collision Results – June 8, 2024

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with tag team action between FTR and Blackpool Combat Club.

FTR vs. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta ends in a time-limit draw

  • Claudio Castagnoli has Cash Wheeler in the Rings of Saturn as the time expires.

Dax Harwood gets a microphone and asks for five more minutes, and Blackpool Combat Club agrees. Brandon Cutler comes out on behalf of The Young Bucks with the match contract, which states that this match was only scheduled for 20 minutes, not 25.

Cutler gets in the ring to show them the contract and gets a Giant Swing followed by a Shatter Machine for his troubles. Castagnoli says Cutler might have ruined it tonight, but they say they’ll take on FTR in a rematch in the future.

Kyle O’Reilly is backstage and is asked about his match tonight against Orange Cassidy. O’Reilly says it’s easy to see why Orange Cassidy is one of the faces of this company. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom come in and says since Kyle has come back, he looks good…but not great, and implies something or someone is missing. Strong tells O’Reilly he’s got this and says he can offer advice since he’s beaten Orange twice.

O’Reilly says they’ve been through this before, and he appreciates their support, but he doesn’t need it right now. Strong says O’Reilly needs to remember what he told him when he came back before walking off.

Dustin thanks everyone in the back, the production crew, and the cameramen. Rhodes says he wants to talk about Jack Perry and says we missed him when he left. When he came back, they were happy to see him, and then he attacked his boss, Tony Khan.

Rhodes says Perry disgusts him for joining The Elite. Dustin says Perry knows nothing about sacrifice because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has never worked a day in his life. Rhodes says Perry hasn’t sacrificed shit. Rhodes says Perry is mediocre because he’s a follower and not a leader. Dustin says they have a match this Wednesday on Dynamite, and he’s gonna destroy his punk ass.

Storm says she’ll be with May every step of the way, and they’ll get through this together.
